Plan a first release around one useful supplier exchange

Choose a product family and follow a buyer from finding it to the staff member who reviews the request. Record the product reference, quantity unit, relevant document and unresolved question. That sequence defines a more reviewable first scope than a catalogue-wide feature list.

Inventory the approved inputs

Identify product owners, available records and document editions. Note which claims have supporting evidence and which require review. A development team can structure information but cannot decide manufacturing capabilities or technical suitability on the supplier's behalf.

List the systems that receive the enquiry and the business accounts involved. Provider interfaces and permissions need confirmation before a connection is treated as available. State any language coverage and qualified reviewer arrangement.

Write acceptance as a staff task

An appropriate check might ask a colleague to identify the requested variant, distinguish cartons from pieces and locate the drawing edition. Add an incomplete request and a correction. The receiving person should know what to ask next without opening unrelated email chains.

For integrations, review a repeated event and an uncertain response. Decide how staff reconcile the destination before retrying an operation that could create another order.

Include the day after release

Name editors, account owners and support contacts. Agree document retirement, access removal and recovery for the defined scope. Explain the timing driver and the dependencies that could alter it. Development commitments follow reviewed written terms.

Use the brief guide to prepare the example and scope guide to compare responsibilities, then discuss the first phase.
